He is a veteran (50 years) Midwestern coyote and fox caller and hunter. He will give seminars on this topic and will answer your questions at the Tech Info Center.
"This is the age of face-time, of immediate two-way communications," notes Glenn Helgeland, producer of the Expo. "Today's hunters want to know how things tick, and they want the opportunity to get answers to their questions from experts."

Here are general entry rules pertaining to trophy contest and non-contest whitetail deer trophies that will be brought to the 2012 Field & Stream Deer & Turkey Expo/OHIO, formerly titled the Ohio Deer & Turkey Expo, in Columbus for measuring and scoring.
The 20th annial Expo will be held March 16-17-18 in the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center (State Fairgrounds) in Columbus. More than 400 Ohio deer are expected. The 2012 big buck contest general rules and fees:
• Trophies are accepted from noon Friday to 10 am Sunday. Fee for the first entry is $20. With this, you get a weekend pass ($39 value).
• There is no advance entry; just bring your trophy to the show. Contest entry is on the north side of the Bricker Building. Follow the signs. Your trophy will be more secure with this entry because it will not neeed to be carried through crowds.
• Do not buy an admission ticket. However, everyone else with you MUST buy a general admission ticket.
• No trophies released between noon and 3 pm Sunday.
• All entries must have been taken in Ohio hunting seasons.
• There are categories for whitetail deer typical and non-typical antlers, with classes for archery, firearms, crossbow and black powder.

• There is a $10 early-check-out fee for any deer taken out before noon Sunday.

New Seminar & Demos...
Trail Cameras -- How to Evaluate & Set Them Up for Best Results
Les Davenport will share with you at the upcoming Field & Stream Deer & Turkey Expo in Columbus what he has learned, both good and bad, during several years of testing and using trail cameras to help him find huntable, shootable big bucks. He will present seminars and be available for one-to-one question-answering at his demonstration booth between seminars. The Expo will be March 16-17-18 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
Davenport notes that he uses gloves and a scent killer to eliminate human (hand) odor from the camera itself (to get rid of any association). "I test for trigger speed, flash range, photo clarity, and other items," he says. "Proper height is very important when using nearly all cameras. Usually six to eight feet off the ground is sufficient on level ground. Most cameras are set too low. Trail cameras spook fewer deer if they are placed high and angled downward. Incandescent or infrared flash can be detected by deer when the camera is at their eye level. That's why they should be set above the sight-plane of deer."
Davenport also will talk about the value of daytime photos, how to adjust for a buck photographed only at night, and other techniques that can make trail camera information helpful instead of just a pretty picture.
This event and similar events in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin were purchased late last year by Bonnier Corporation, parent company of Field & Stream and Outdoor Life magazines, from Target Communications, the previous owner, and renamed the Field & Stream Deer & Turkey Expos, presented by Remington. Outdoor Life will sponsor the seminar series at each expo.
"The Field & Stream Deer & Turkey Expo events are the largest and most comprehensive of their kind," said Jay Miller, Remington Brand Manager. "The events attract thousands of passionate hunters. We're very appreciative of the opportunity and we're excited to be part of these must-attend events for sportsmen."
There will be more than 450 exhibit booths, many with new products and many offering great bargains, and more than 40 how-to hunting seminars. Seminars are free once you have your general admission ticket.
To get a $2-off ticket discount coupon, and Deer & Turkey Expo details, go to the event's web-site -- www.deerinfo.com, click on Ohio icon, then Tickets.
