These photos give
you a true picture of the wide range
of activities and things to enjoy
at our deer and turkey expos ... new
products of all sorts on the exhibit
floor ... hands-on shooting range
where you can have fun and get safety
instruction ... photo contests, turkey
calling contests, trophy deer and
other big game contests ... 2-1/2
days of highly informative how-to
seminars ... demonstrations of outdoor
skills ... educational natural history
displays ... and more.
This is a great place
for you and your family to spend an
enjoyable weekend in the off-season.
When we say "Cabin Fever",
you understand perfectly. And you
see why we suggest spending at least
two days at an expo, because you can't
get full benefit from the expo in
just one day. There's a lot going
on. See you there.
Exhibit floors show
a wide range of hunting equipment and
accessories, highlighted by special
displays of new products where you can
look at the new gear without a sales
person at your elbow. Many exhibitors
have product for sale.
The expos are family
events, and there's something for everyone
to see and do. Shooting ranges, photo
contests, exhibits of everything from
hunting gear to home/den decorations
of outdoor lifestyle things, hands-on
try-out hardware displays and lots more.
You can't see and do it all in just
one day.
List of all trophy
contest winners, by division and class,
plus photos of the Best of Show winners
for each expo. Winning scores vary from
year to year, so DO NOT use these lists
as a guideline as to how well your trophy
will do when you enter it, because you
never know. First-place winners in Historical
and All Years divisions are automatically
retired from further competition, which
keeps the contest fresh every year. First-place
Current Year division winners one year
can be entered the following year in the
Historical division. When you enter a
trophy, you get a three-day show pass.
Trophy contest display
boards filled mostly with big whitetail
deer antlers but, depending upon the Expo,
might also include black bear, elk, moose
or turkey. Big. Impressive. Where were
they when we were in the woods? Anywhere
from 100 to 500 trophies; the total varies
from expo to expo. To enter your trophy
in any given contest, simply bring it
to the expo; no advance registration.
