There is one contest – for Ohio whitetail deer taken during any Ohio hunting season, with the hunter known. The contest has four divisions (Centerfire Firearms, Archery, Crossbow, Muzzleloader), with two antler brackets (typical and non-typical) in each division. Archery and firearms divisions have Current Year (2011 season) and Historical (2010 season and earlier) brackets; crossbow and muzzleloader entries have only one bracket each because there are fewer entries in each. Contest entry fee is $20; in return, you get a weekend pass.
See the Ohio Contests page for complete 2012 contest rules and 'measure only' non-contest antler entry rules, and for identification of 2011 Best of Show winners.
