One-third of you attending the expos participate in a dog-related hunting activity (upland game, upland birds, waterfowl, rabbits). This is an all-weekend opportunity for hunting dog breeders and trainers to talk with you.

... and who can’t love puppies and dogs.

New item - Training sessions, with kids training dogs (and, probably, dogs training kids), under the watchful and instructive eyes of experienced adult dog trainers.

SUNDAY at each expo also will include a designated area for puppies, kids and dog people of all ages to congregate. This may not be the quietest place on the floor, but it might be the most active. All upland game, upland birds and waterfowl hunting dog breeds welcome.

The gun auction, under the direction of Randy Brown of Randy’s Hunting Center, Bad Axe, will have more than 150 firearms sold -- rifles, shotguns and handguns, from .22 caliber to big game calibers/gauges. All firearms will be displayed for inspection on the exhibit floor Friday, Saturday and Sunday until auction time. Each firearm will have a written model, caliber/gauge and conditions description.

The auction begins Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in Rooms 101-102 on the main floor’s Michigan Avenue Concourse near the exhibit hall main entrance. Firearms cases will be available, some to be auctioned. All guns must be cased to go out the door. Remember to bring your pistol purchase permit(s) and/or concealed pistol license. All federal, state and local laws apply.
