B&C WHITETAIL TOTALS JUMP

B&C historical records show that trophy whitetails are up 400 percent over the past 30 years. In 1980-1985, hunters entered 617 whitetails into Boone and Crockett records. In 2005-2010, that jumped to 3,090, an increase of 400 percent. Wisconsin is the top state with 383 entries.

• These hunting expos are annual events for deer hunters, turkey hunters and their families.
• Each hunting expo includes a whitetail buck trophy deer contest operated under the Boone and Crockett Club and Pope and Young Club scoring system, plus exhibits of deer hunting and turkey hunting equipment (firearms, muzzleloading, bowhunting) and accessories.
• New hunting products are featured at the expos.
• The accessories cover a wide range of hunting products and gear -- hunting clothes, footwear, deer scents & lures, deer calls, turkey calls, deer feeds, food plot seeds and planting hardware, treestands, riflescopes and binoculars, maps, bowhunting equipment and accessories (broadheads, quivers, arrow rests, sights, releases), targets, deer and turkey decoys, ATVs and food plot prep accessories, GPS, wild foods cooking, hunting land for sale or lease, venison butchering, etc.
